Salvé

For the ship Salvé, we were privileged to provide the hydraulic control for the anchor windlass along with a complete hydraulic installation of the spud pole.

The delivered system for the hydraulic anchor windlass on the ship Salvé utilizes proportional control. This means that the speed and force with which the anchor is lowered or raised can be flexibly adjusted based on the applied pressure to the control mechanism. Consequently, this enables precise and controlled operation of the anchor, which is advantageous for ships as the system can adapt to different water conditions.

The complete hydraulic installation of the spud pole allows the Salvé to be easily stabilized in a fixed position, even in rougher waters or currents. This mechanism is used in ships to enhance the stability and positioning of the vessel during operations, making them easier and faster to execute.
